Tibet Carpet Inc. was conceived with a resolute intention to preserve and promote the unadulterated rich cultural heritage of Tibet & the Himalayan region for the benefit of the world at large.

Soon after graduating from the prestigious St. Stephen's College, Delhi University, Tsering Lhungay was in a unique position to simultaneously bring the excellence of Tibetan rugs to a new audience while spreading greater understanding about his cherished native culture. He had by then, both the knowledge and the means to pursue this dream. The resulting combination of supply-side know-how and trailblazing entrepreneurship led to the establishment of Ralo Tibetan Carpets®, a brand of luxury, finely-crafted Tibetan rugs that soon became the benchmark of quality in the US market - a testimony to his initial dedication and aspiration.

Only the highest quality Tibet Highland wool and pure vegetal dyes are used in creating these fabulous rugs. Ralo Tibetan carpets® are 100% hand crafted in an environment-friendly method with a deep commitment to the social welfare of its weavers and society. "Himalayan Health Initiative" a charitable arm of the company offers medical service and medicines gratis to disadvantaged Tibetans and Nepalese.
